Self-Defence Classes
for Women in Noida

What the training actually covers, not the empowerment poster version.

Search "self-defence classes for women near me" and most of what comes back is stock photography and vague promises. Nobody tells you who's teaching, what a real session looks like, or how long before any of it would actually help you.

Here's the version with the specifics in it.

It's Not a Separate Class

Self-defence at Redcrown isn't a side program bolted onto the schedule. It's taught inside the regular MMA classes, structured so a complete beginner, someone training purely for fitness, a competitive athlete, and someone here specifically for self-defence can all follow the same session and walk away with something real. Nobody gets a watered-down version because the room has mixed goals in it.

It's taught directly by Aditya Heera, Redcrown's head coach, a national medalist in MMA and a verified BJJ Blue Belt. Not a certificate-only instructor. Someone who has actually competed.

What's Actually Covered

Striking, situational awareness, and grappling-based escapes, the kind of technique that applies to being grabbed, choked, or taken to the ground. What it doesn't cover is weapon-specific defence. That's a separate, specialised discipline, and any general self-defence class promising to teach you to disarm a knife in a few sessions is overselling what's realistically possible for a beginner. We'd rather tell you what this training won't do than let you find out the hard way.

The Schedule

Classes run 6 days a week, each session an hour, with the same unlimited mat time policy that applies across MMA: if your body can handle a longer session, you're not capped at an hour by default.

How Long Before It Actually Helps

Realistically, at least two months of consistent training. That's the point where most students have the physical grounding and, just as importantly, the mental capacity to start applying things differently, not after one seminar or a single weekend workshop. Anyone promising faster than that is selling confidence, not capability.

The Two Things Women Actually Ask About

Not the generic "is it safe" and "is it welcoming" that every gym claims to answer. The two specific things that actually come up:

Training intensity

Every technique has levels. You get pushed, that's the point of training, but never to the point where your own body gives out. Progression is real but it's controlled, not a test of how much you can survive on day one.

Training alongside men

Right now, training is mixed. What we don't do is leave a new woman to sort out who to pair with on her own. Staff make the pairing decision directly for new students, specifically matching people who'll actually be comfortable training together. It's a deliberate call, not left to chance. A women-only batch is something we're actively considering if there's real demand for it.

Age, Pricing, and the First Class

Anyone 12 and up is welcome in the general batch. Self-defence training is bundled into the standard MMA program, not a separate fee, so the same MMA pricing applies: ₹4,499 monthly, with 3-month, 6-month and annual options working out cheaper per month. Your first class is free, same as every program here.

Something We're Working On

We're actively looking at giving women an extra month added to the 3-month membership, to account for the reality that most women miss at least a week, sometimes closer to a month, across that period due to their cycle. As far as we know, no gym in India currently does this. It's not live yet, but it's a real idea we're working toward, not a marketing line.

Come see the training floor before you decide anything.

Meet Coach Aditya, see how partner pairing actually works, and judge the room for yourself. Your first class is free.
